Nestled inside a restored 100-year-old machiya townhouse in Higashiyama, Kuroyuri Coffee was born from a simple belief: that great coffee deserves great surroundings.
We source micro-lot beans from across Japan and the world, roasted in-house to honour their origin. Paired with Kyoto's finest matcha and seasonal wagashi, every visit is a ritual.
Restored timber beams, washi-screen windows, and the gentle sound of water in the courtyard — our machiya is a place to slow down.
We are located in the heart of Higashiyama — a short walk from Kiyomizudera Temple and Ninenzaka.
